TAKTICS Terms & Conditions

Effective date: September 1, 2026

By using taktics.app and the TAKTICS platform services operated by TAKTICS LLC ("TAKTICS," "we," or "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and all related policies, including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Who these terms are for

  • Studio owners and admins — people who sign up on taktics.app, subscribe to a platform plan, run onboarding, or use Admin tools to operate a business on TAKTICS.
  • Visitors — people browsing taktics.app marketing pages, docs, pricing, or legal pages.
  • Studio customers — members who book or buy on a studio storefront are primarily governed by that studio's policies and the relationship with the studio. These Platform Terms still apply to how you use TAKTICS software features (for example account security and acceptable use).

Scope of the platform

TAKTICS provides software for small businesses (studios and similar operators) to manage bookings, branding, payments, customers, and related tools. Hosted storefronts may appear on subdomains (for example under taktics.studio) or on a studio's custom domain. Individual studio storefronts may publish their own studio policies, waivers, and member terms. Those studio-specific terms govern the studio's relationship with its customers; these Platform Terms govern your use of the TAKTICS website and platform itself (including owner onboarding and platform billing).

Use of service

You may use the service only in compliance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Some studio offerings on the platform may involve physical activity, equipment, travel, or other inherent risks; use good judgment and consult a qualified professional when appropriate. Studio owners are responsible for the accuracy of their storefront content, compliance with laws that apply to their business, and how they handle their customers' data beyond what TAKTICS processes as a service provider.

Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable law, or policies posted on the service. You may delete your customer or member account from My Account where available, or contact us.

Platform subscriptions and payments

Studio owners: platform subscriptions (when offered) are billed through Polar and/or Stripe as shown at checkout on taktics.app (or linked pricing / billing pages). Manage or cancel through the billing portal or controls shown in Admin → Payments where available.

Studio customers: purchases on a studio storefront (credits, drop-ins, gift cards, and similar) are processed by Stripe for that studio. We do not store full payment card numbers.

Refunds and cancellations (United States)

Refund and cancellation rules follow the terms shown at the time of purchase and any studio policies published on the relevant storefront. Platform subscription cancellations for owners generally take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at purchase or in the billing portal. Digital goods, prepaid packages, or credits may be non-refundable except where required by applicable U.S. state or federal law. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights under the law of your state of residence.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, TAKTICS LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages related to use of the service except where liability cannot be excluded by law. TAKTICS is not responsible for the quality, safety, or delivery of in-person or studio-delivered services offered by independent studio operators.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date where required. The current version lives at taktics.app/terms.
